Today TATA group create a history,On November 30, Tata Technologies made a stunning market debut by listing at a price that was 140% higher than the IPO. While the issue price of the stock was Rs 500, it began trading at Rs 1,200 on the NSE and BSE.
With over 73.37 lakh applications, the IPO had attracted strong interest from all types of investors. A record 203.35 bookings were made out of the quota earmarked for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs), while the public offer was subscribed around 70 times.There were 62.09 and 16.50 bookings for the portions designated for individual investors and non-institutional investors (NIIs), respectively.
Although there was a lot of demand and investors trusted the Tata name, there were also worries. The main one was the concentration of income from the top five clients. 56 percent of the topline in FY24 and 63 percent in FY23 came from the top five clients, which also include Vinfast and Land Rover jaguar.
